Magazine Cover Assignment

I had to put my face on a magazine in this project, and I thought it would be

sort of cool to do one in a different language.

Movie Poster Assignment

For this assignment I had to photoshop myself onto a movie poster. 

I chose Elf because it's one of my favorite movies for the holidays.

Classical "Painted" Portrait

In this project we had to find a picture and use filters to make it look like the picture was actually painted, so I used a filter and adjusted the lighting and shades so that it looked like the picture was painted.

Creative Blurring

In this assignment we had to choose and image and blur the back round but keep the foreground 

focused. I really liked this project because I think the effect dramaticizes the image and makes it more interesting.

Portrait Montage Using Different Backrounds

For this assignment I put a bunch of zendoodles into one picture and then put myself in there too.

Self-Portrait Montage with Different Filters

For this assignment I took a bunch of pictures of myself and then I put filters on them 

and made them into one picture.

Triple Portrait (Evolution)

This project shows the evolution of the horse. A foal, adult, and then to old.

CandyLand Landscape

We had to create an imaginary candy land for this project, so I used many different

layers of different sweets to create this scene. 

Art Addition to Masterpiece

In this assignment, I had to add myself to a masterpiece. So I chose to add

 myself to the Mona Lisa and use filters

to make it look like I'm really supposed to be there.

Repetition Used in a Creative Way

In this project, we had to use repetition, patterns and such, to create a picture. So I took one image

of flowers and laid them over each other to create a pattern.  

Who's in our School?

For this assignment we had to add characters into our school. So, I added Mario characters.

Disproportionate Picture

This picture is a disproportionate photo, meaning things that should be small or large

in real life, aren't in the photo. For example, the bee should be small compared to the 

elephant, but since it's a disproportionate picture, it isn't. 

Seven Wonders of the World

In project, I had to photoshop myself into one of the world'd wonders. I chose the Pyramid

at Giza because I've always wanted to visit Egypt.

Create a Hybrid Creature

In this assignment, I had to create an animal incorporating five into one. The animal that I created

is a mix between a horse, a tiger, a butterfly, a zebra, and snails. I call it the "Zigerailfly". 

Decorate an Empty Room

This room started out as empty, but I filled it in with many things I enjoy. Such as art, animals, and my phone. I also added things I want like a vanity and a night stand.

Colorize a Black and White Ansel Adams Image

This photograph was originally taken by Ansel Adams as a black and white image, but for this

assignment I colored it in with a low opacity as to not make it look cartoony. 

Colorize a Black and White Image

For this project, I found a black and white picture off of Tumblr, and using a low opacity, I 

colored in and shaded the flowers and back round.

Picasso-esque Cubist Digital Portrait

In this assignment, I added many different parts of the face to one, just as Picasso did in his work.

Surrealist Digital Portrait

My surrealist digital portrait is a food lady, she is entirely made of food and 

nothing else. She really needs to brush her teeth though...

For my surrealist landscape, I tried to make it as full of funny, pointless things as I could. This way, 

it would be very interesting and amusing.

This project is of Ansel Gort, an actor.

Georgia O'Keeffe Flower

My flower is supposed to be a play on how Georgia O'Keeffe drew hers. I tries to blend lots of colors 

together, just like she did.

Impressionist Portrait

For my impressionist portrait I chose to do a horse. To make the horse's coat and mane look real, 

I used lots of color and dots, as that's what an impressionists piece is.

 For my landscape I chose a tree in a grassy field. I used lots of different colors and dots to make

the scene look perfect. 

Painting of Choice: Sketchbook Pro

For my painting of choice, I chose to do a simple one, as to just test out all the new tools.

Create a New Version of Logo Assignment

For this assignment, I chose to use the Netflix logo. I changed it by making the letters droopy and adding a dotty border. 

Formal/Informal Balance Art Rage Assignment

For this assignment I chose to use an informal balance. You can tell because if I folded this 

in half, the designs would not be the same on both sides.

Street Art

My street art project pretty much has no meaning at all...:) I was having trouble coming up with ideas

so behold: a pair of lips drinking root beer.

Rhythm Movement

In my Art Rage rhythm movement project I used different stencils and created an image with 

lots of different shapes and colors. 

Rothko-esque Art Rage

For this assignment I had to draw something that was similar to the famous  Mark

Rothko. The colors have to look like they are "floating on top of each other". So I

used lots of blending tools such as the paint roller and the blending knife to 

make it look this way.

Celebrity With Animal Name

For this assignment I had to choose a celebrity, make them a name that relates to an animal,

and morph them with that animal. So, as a result I got Bruno Meerkat, who used to be

Bruno Mars.

Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

For this assignment I drew orchids, then I colored them in using gradients and patterns from photoshop.

9 Panel Comic

My 9 panel comic is a story about the "Over Worked Mom". She's almost like a super hero. One 

minute she's lecturing her kid about not drawing on the fence, the next minute she's giving her 

husband exercise tips. (You may need to click on and zoom in to read.)

Colored/Shaded Scene of Cartoon

In my cartoon I drew a family, three children and one mother, playing in the garden.

Bird Coloring Page Assignment

For my bird, I tried to use a series of pink feathers, some big some small,

and blend them together. This way, the bird looks a little bit more real.

Kaleidoscope Assignment

In the Kaleidoscope assignment I tried to use a lot of colors that blended nicely

with each other. So I used a series of blues, purples, and greens, and used 

a chalk board filter for the back round. 

Where's Waldo Assignment

I think this assignment was one of my favorites, it was sort of a collage that we had 

to create and incorporate our favorite things into it. Then we had to put ourselves as 

"Waldo" into it, can you find me?

Albrecht Durer Assignment

In this assignment, I have a picture of a dog that looks almost like it's carved in wood grain. 

 I had tried to find a picture that looked like a picture of my dog, Murphy. Then,

I used filters to make the dog look like it was carved in wood grain, as I said before, and 

I used a special filter in the back round to make the dog stand out more.

Edward Gorey Assignment

In this assignment, I had to draw a little scene related to a sentence

that rhymes with my name. So, my parents don't drive a Tribecca, 

but I used the sentence, " R is for Rebecca who drives a Tribecca"

Cartoon Yourself Assignment

For the "Cartoon Yourself Assignment" I pretty much just tried to copy how I looked, and 

to make my portrait pop I added the flower back round.

Cartoon Version of Masterpiece

For this assignment we had to take a masterpiece and either copy it, or add a cartoon

face into it. So I added the face of Mickey Mouse to the masterpiece Madam 

Matisse, the Green Line by Henri Matisse.

The Scream Part2

The Scream Part2 is an assignment where you photoshop

your own face into the drawing. I also added a filter that 

looks like my face was drawn.

For this assignment, I didn't stray much from the

original. I did change the colors of the ocean and the

sunset a little bit though.
